VW Crafter Trakka Motorhome
I bought a Trakka VW Crafter based motorhome recently with a 3600kg tare weight, unfortunately the 2.5 litre engine struggled getting the vehicle off the line, a friend with a similiar vehicle had paid $1600 for a diesel chip but I could not see the value in it. I then read about Chip my diesel and decided on the Pro Version at half the price of another brand. As I am still modifying the layout of my vehicle I have not had a good run on the highway yet but in city driving I have gone from an average of 14.5l/100km to 12.9l/100km, a very good improvement however, the increase in performance "off the line" and during acceleration is outstanding. Very happy with this unit and currently on factory supplied settings.
Great Wall V200
Purchased over 3 years ago, and, highly recommended! Power and torque increase was exactly what they said it was, around 20% Unbelievable! Minimal change to fuel consumption, but the increase in power is more than enough to compensate. Definitely buy if you need more grunt!!
2009 D-Max 3.0
Unit was fitted with plug and play connections programmed for my 2009 DMax fully loaded car with dingy on roof and 2800 kg caravan behind , drove it around block and up a hill and I could tell there is a great difference , more pulling power and higher boost pressure.Extremely happy with this setup !

I recently fitted a standard chip to this vehicle - fitting was relatively easy once you got rid of the parts that are in the way of the engine cover. It has a made a great difference to vehicle in power and driveability - just about elimitated turbo lag.
As far as fuel consumption is concerned, I recently did a trip to Victoria towing a van (1.4 T ) - mostly dual highway - and returned 11.125L/100K. Chip was then fitted and went over mountains to Glen Innes and on through Stanthorpe,Toowoomba, Roma,Longreach,to Rollingstone and then returned home through other country areas of Queensland to Northern NSW - the roads are certainly not easy travelling. Did a total of 5339K at an average of 11.332L/100K.
The performance of the vehicle was great and now have to do fuel consumption under normal conditions without the van as i did not have time to do it before going away.
